How many times have you been sitting at home, and suddenly had a real nagging urge for a delicious snack, but don’t feel like running out to the store? If you are anything like me, then it probably happens a lot, but with a home popcorn popper, you can have a delicious, light snack in no time at all.

We’ve all tried the microwaveable bags of popcorn, but that usually ends up with a bunch of the kernels being burnt, not to mention the time you have to spend standing beside the oven, ear pressed to the door, to see if the popping has stopped. A home popper takes all the hassle out of making your favorite snack, and best of all, you can quickly make a large batch that will be enough for the whole family. Just think of how much it would cost to do that at a movie theater, where the price for a bag of popcorn is more expensive than your first car.

There are a number of different styles and models to choose from, but the key to making great tasting popcorn from your home popcorn popper is to make sure that you use only the best quality kernel. If the machine requires oil, then making sure you use the correct kind is also important, with the combination of oil and kernel giving you the best chance at having delicious, fluffy popcorn every time you run your popper.

There are all kinds of different kernels on the market, and it may be that you have to try a few different kinds before you find one that you and your entire family can agree on, but that’s a fun job to have. The selection of oil is much easier though, and you should always use coconut oil which will leave your popcorn looking and tasting great every time you use your home popper. So grab some oil, a few different brands of kernels and have a fun night of popcorn tasting with the family.

My favorite bar to go to is called “Smokin’ Harleys”. It is both a bar and a steakhouse. The owners are a wonderful couple who both drive Harley Davidson’s, and you’ll see Harley images on their place mats, t-shirts, walls, everywhere! There is always live music on Saturday nights from various local bands. All of the bands are very good. There is also karaoke on Friday nights. Karaoke is more fun once you have a few drinks inside you because then everyone sounds good. Smokin’ Harley’s is located right beside a Harley Davidson dealership so the name is very fitting. The prices on their drinks are very reasonable and they have drink specials throughout the night. Children are allowed on the restaurant side until 10:00pm. Once the restaurant closes, anyone under the age of 21 must leave. I like “Smokin’ Harley’s” because they are family oriented and because they also provide a night life for the adults. It is also a great place to catch your favorite sports game on one of the many televisions.

Cigars need to be stored in a humidor, as opposed to their original box, because the original box lacks one crucial element: humidity. In order to ensure the continued quality of cigars, the environment in which they are stored must have a critical balance between humidity and temperature. For long term consistency, most experts agree that cigars must be stored between 70 degrees Fahrenheit and at 70% humidity, which a humidor is quite capable of providing. Humidors are comprised of three critical components: a humidification unit, a hygrometer, and a reservoir to hold moisture. Ideally, the humidor that one chooses to purchase should also contain durable hinges to ensure that it can open and close properly for many years. In short, a humidor is going to be a critical component to prolong the lifespan and quality of the cigars that one purchases, and a high quality humidor will provide many years of use and function.

To preserve wines and help speed up the aging process that helps give them a fuller and richer flavor, it is very important to practice good wine storage procedures. Wealthier individuals and commercial businesses that maintain large inventories or collections of expensive and vintage wines will often invest hefty sums of money into building medium to large sized rooms that have specialized wine shelves and have climate control systems to maintain the perfect balance of temperature and humidity. Many wine rooms also will restrict the amount of light, artificial or sunlight from reaching the bottles.

Of course dedicated wine rooms are out of the budgets of most people, or they don’t have a large enough collection to justify a room of that size. For serious wine collectors, wine coolers make an excellent alternative to keeping their wines for long periods of time at the right temperature and humidity levels at the fraction of the cost of a full size wine cellar.

Sometimes in life, people have birthdays. Not only are there birthdays in life, but there are also other occasions where wine gifts must be given. At these times, one option is giving wine as a gift. People who may enjoy wine may also have a special wine cellar to keep their wine in; in this case, make sure the wine gift is something nice, as they will most likely already have a vast collection of wines in their cellar. Some prime wine types to give as gifts include chardonnays, melots, and muscatos. When considering gifting wine, make sure you also consider how the wine is wrapped. Many places sell specialized tubes that look very nice when used. These tubes will not only add to the appeal of your wine, but they will add that little extra razzle dazzle snazzle to your wine gift. In conclusion, wine gifting is a wonderful idea.

It was Mr. Angelo Moriondo, an Italian guy who paved the way for my Best Espresso Machine ever! He was the one who invented the first espresso machine in 1884. More than a century after and we are still drinking coffee and espresso more than ever before. I always wondered how a machine could do a better job with an espresso than a human being would. Then I always end up arguing that it was a man who built this machine, so I’m in a dilemma whether I should be thanking mankind for this invention or whether I should thank my espresso machine every morning. Well, I wonder how Mr. Moriondo would react if he had to see my beast of an espresso machine, sitting gloriously on my kitchen bench where everyone could see it and show his gratitude. His was steam operated, but mine is much more sophisticated! Yet, I might have arrived to an answer about who should receive my gratitude… thanks Angelo!
