How many times have you been sitting at home, and suddenly had a real nagging urge for a delicious snack, but don’t feel like running out to the store? If you are anything like me, then it probably happens a lot, but with a home popcorn popper, you can have a delicious, light snack in no time at all.

We’ve all tried the microwaveable bags of popcorn, but that usually ends up with a bunch of the kernels being burnt, not to mention the time you have to spend standing beside the oven, ear pressed to the door, to see if the popping has stopped. A home popper takes all the hassle out of making your favorite snack, and best of all, you can quickly make a large batch that will be enough for the whole family. Just think of how much it would cost to do that at a movie theater, where the price for a bag of popcorn is more expensive than your first car.

There are a number of different styles and models to choose from, but the key to making great tasting popcorn from your home popcorn popper is to make sure that you use only the best quality kernel. If the machine requires oil, then making sure you use the correct kind is also important, with the combination of oil and kernel giving you the best chance at having delicious, fluffy popcorn every time you run your popper.

There are all kinds of different kernels on the market, and it may be that you have to try a few different kinds before you find one that you and your entire family can agree on, but that’s a fun job to have. The selection of oil is much easier though, and you should always use coconut oil which will leave your popcorn looking and tasting great every time you use your home popper. So grab some oil, a few different brands of kernels and have a fun night of popcorn tasting with the family.

It was Mr. Angelo Moriondo, an Italian guy who paved the way for my Best Espresso Machine ever! He was the one who invented the first espresso machine in 1884. More than a century after and we are still drinking coffee and espresso more than ever before. I always wondered how a machine could do a better job with an espresso than a human being would. Then I always end up arguing that it was a man who built this machine, so I’m in a dilemma whether I should be thanking mankind for this invention or whether I should thank my espresso machine every morning. Well, I wonder how Mr. Moriondo would react if he had to see my beast of an espresso machine, sitting gloriously on my kitchen bench where everyone could see it and show his gratitude. His was steam operated, but mine is much more sophisticated! Yet, I might have arrived to an answer about who should receive my gratitude… thanks Angelo!
